Dust. Drama. Determination. Ghost Factory Racing in Lenzerheide

Sara Cortinovis back on the podium – Nicole Koller finishes P4 in XCC

Lenzerheide brought back everything that makes UCI World Cup racing unforgettable -  steep climbs, technical terrain, dusty descents and split-second moments under pressure. The course demanded pure focus from the first pedal stroke to the last lap.

The team went into the weekend knowing the ups and downs of World Cup racing are never far away. Scenes were electric: sprint finishes in XCC, mechanicals that tested resilience, comebacks from the back of the pack and riders in and out of rhythm as the trail punished every mistake and rewarded every surge.

In the Elite category, Nicole Koller and Anne Terpstra showed their experience and resilience. Nicole Koller showed she still has the speed she showed earlier on in the season, battling for a podium sprint in XCC, finishing in 4th, while Anne made her return to the tape after surgery - using the weekend to build confidence and rhythm, a small but significant step in her comeback.

Caroline Bohé also found encouraging rhythm, securing strong start positions and edging closer to where she wants to be.

Finja battled through adversity after an early setback in the XCO, fighting her way from the dead last to 24th over the line - a performance that speaks volumes about her determination.

In the U23 field, Sara Cortinovis demonstrated an amazing performance of composure and power, riding her way onto the podium and cementing her place among the bright young riders in the sport.

World Cup racing isn’t just about the result. It’s about what the race reveals - where the gaps are, what resilience looks like under fire, how every moment tests resolve. For us watching from Cadence Nutrition, World Cup racing reminds us that performance is the result of consistency, effort and a tireless pursuit of excellence.

We’re honoured to support Ghost Factory Racing as they bring their bests to every start line. Next up: North America, where the team heads to Lake Placid to close out the World Cup season with one last push for glory.
